Sadly, Lenovo's big Linux initiative seems to have fizzled since I covered this. It's a shame. I hope it's just a victim of the ongoing pandemic and not a conscious business decision. It had a lot of momentum!

I do own a System76 Oryx Pro, and I can tell you those parts are just as easily replaced. However, NOTHING beats a ThinkPad keyboard, and nothing beats how durable a ThinkPad is.

The good new is this Christina: The vast majority of ThinkPads are champs when it comes to running Linux, even if they don't have Linux pre-installed.
